Terms of Service

Last updated: February 13, 2026

The short version: Use Daymark responsibly, respect other people, and we'll do our best to keep your notes safe and the service running.

Using Daymark

By using Daymark, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

You agree to use Daymark responsibly. Don't use it for anything illegal, to store or distribute malware, to spam or harass others, to exploit the system, or to use it as a makeshift file hosting service. Don't attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service. If you abuse the service, your account may be suspended or permanently removed without notice.

Your content

You own the notes and content you create in Daymark. We do not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for what you store — do not upload anything illegal or harmful. We may remove content or suspend accounts if required by law or if the content violates these terms.

Availability and data

Daymark is provided "as is." We aim for high reliability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or zero data loss. We perform regular backups, but you are responsible for keeping your own backups if your data is critical. You can export all your data at any time from your profile settings.

Subscriptions and payments

Some features of Daymark require a paid subscription. Payments are processed securely through Stripe or the relevant app store. By subscribing, you agree to pay the listed subscription price and allow recurring billing unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time — access to paid features continues until the end of your billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing in the future, but changes will not affect active billing periods without notice.

Refunds

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. App Store purchases (Apple or Google) are subject to their respective refund policies.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the system, or pose security risks.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Daymark and its operators are not liable for data loss, business losses, indirect or consequential damages, or service interruptions. Use the service at your own risk.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify users in advance. Continued use of Daymark after changes means you accept the updated terms.
